Welcome to Progress Energy-UCF Leadership Institute. On behalf of UCF President John Hitt and Progress Energy Chairman and
CEO William D. Johnson, we invite you to share in the resources of the Institute and hope you will find them helpful in your efforts to improve student learning in our schools. More than 750,000 students and over 2,000 administrators in Central Florida schools will be touched in a variety of ways by the Leadership Institute.

Our mission is to enhance the knowledge, insights, and skills of our educational leaders through programs led by the nation's most prominent and distinguished scholars. Teams of school and central office leaders from thirteen Central Florida school districts are communicating the lessons they learn to other leaders in their districts, facilitating the integration of these ideas into their schools and classrooms.
